Moneyball Sportswear World Headquarters Grand Opening – 517 Day

May 17th, or 517 Day as it’s known to the Lansing, MI community, was the grand opening of our world headquarters located on 927 W. Saginaw St Lansing MI, 48915. We celebrated with four days of events that included a ribbon-cutting on May 17, followed by a Think Tank event with speakers well-known to the Lansing community for their leadership in business, community, and the arts & culture scene. The following days led with a Moneyball Sportswear fashion show, a guest appearance and signing by Detroit rapper Sada Baby and a Michigan State University athletics “meet and greet” on the final day. 

“Opening Moneyball Sportswear’s new headquarters in a business corridor that needs investment is the next step”, when you think of Moneyball, I want people to think of Lansing, Michigan,” Dez said. “There’s so much more room for growth.”

“It means everything. To do something in a neighborhood like this where the buildings didn’t look the greatest and to want to be one of the ones who spearhead the movement of revitalizing this corridor is something special to us,” Dez said.

Our new home base, one part retail, where customers can shop our athletic leisure apparel, and another part offices for the staff and a pop-up space for businesses looking for a quick place to set-up and promote their business. Our brand has grown significantly in the last two decades not only in retail but also providing custom sports uniforms for more than 120 teams at school districts, colleges, and sports leagues throughout the country and abroad. Moneyball, the only way to ball!
